What is Folvite Tablet used for?
Folic acid belongs to the vitamin B family and is necessary for good health. It treats anaemia caused by low levels of folic acid. It is essential for the proper development and functioning of the central nervous system. It is frequently administered during pregnancy to support the normal development of your baby's brain, skull, and spinal cord.

How should I take Folvite Tablet?
Folvite Tablet should be taken orally as directed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or cut the tablet, or it may not work properly. Take Folvite Tablet with or without food. Your doctor will decide on the best dose and duration of treatment for you. Do not take more than your prescribed dose or you may experience serious side effects.

How does Folvite Tablet work?
Folvite Tablet contains folic acid, which is a water-soluble vitamin, known as Vitamin B9. Folic Acid is an essential component to stimulate the production of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets in certain folate deficiency (megaloblastic) anaemias. I missed a dose. What should I do?
If you missed a dose of Folvite Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the next dose at the same time. Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose of Folvite Tablet.

I have taken too much. What should I do?
If you have taken Folvite Tablet more than the prescribed quantity, you might get side effects, contact the doctor immediately.

What are the benefits of Folvite Tablet?
Folvite Tablet contains folic acid, a synthetic form of Vitamin B9. It is used to manage and treat folic acid deficiency anaemia (megaloblastic anaemia) which occurs due to poor diet and poor absorption of food. These medicines may affect the function of folic acid.

Your doctor will prescribe Folvite Tablet for a fixed period, after which your symptoms should subside and you should start feeling better.
